Carrot, onion and potatoe hotchpotch or in dutch "Hutspot"

    Ingrediënts:

  • 1 kilogram of potatoes (2.2 lbs)
  • 1 kilogram of carrots (2.2 lbs)
  • 3 onions
  • 1 bay-leaf
  • salt and pepper
  • a few cloves

    Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces.
    Clean the carrots, cut them into pieces (not too big)
    Peel the onions and cut them into small pieces.
    Put all ingredients into a cooking pot
    with a little water and cook for about 20 to 30 minutes. Take out the bay-leaf and cloves and mash and pulverize everything.
    Serve with gravy and sausage.
